I started this blog because most "make money online" content falls into one of two traps: it either oversells a shortcut that doesn't exist, or it's so generic it could've been written about any topic. I wanted something different — a place that tells you what actually worked, what didn't, and why, without the hype.

Why I Started This Blog

Back in 2009, I taught myself how to create blogs and websites. Those sites back then were pretty basic. I cannot begin to tell you how much money and time I spent/wasted on every shining object the so-called gurus were selling. The vast majority of the time, what they were selling only gave me part of the solutions I was looking for to place on my sites. I found that the only people who were really making money online were the ones pushing all those make money online products.

• Step-by-step guides for beginners, without assuming you already know the jargon
• Realistic timelines instead of "get rich quick" promises
• Tool and platform comparisons based on actually trying them, not just reading about them

What I'm Not Going to Do

I'm not going to tell you there's a secret system nobody else knows about. I'm not going to promise a specific income number. What I will do is share what's realistic, what's worked, and what to watch out for—including scams and inflated claims that show up constantly in this space.
